The gauge coupled two-body problem in a ring

چکیده

We study the properties of two quantum particles which are confined in a ring. The interact via long-range gauge potential proportional to distance between particles. It is found that two-body ground state corresponds with non-zero angular momentum provided interaction strong enough. In addition, correlated sense depending on strength there propensity be close together or separated discuss effect measuring position one and thereby removing particle from ring, where we show remaining can prepared non-dispersive momentum.

Gauge freedom in the N-body problem of celestial mechanics

The goal of this paper is to demonstrate how the internal symmetry of the N-body celestial-mechanics problem can be exploited in orbit calculation. We start with summarising research reported in (Efroimsky 2002, 2003; Newman & Efroimsky 2003; Efroimsky & Goldreich 2003) and develop its application to planetary equations in non-inertial frames. This class of problems is treated by the variationo...

Gauge Freedom in the N - body Problem of Celestial

We summarise research reported in (Efroimsky 2002, 2003; Efroimsky & Goldreich 2003a,b) and develop its application to planetary equations in non-inertial frames. Whenever a standard system of six planetary equations (in the Lagrange, Delaunay, or other form) is employed, the trajectory resides on a 9(N-1)-dimensional submanifold of the 12(N-1)-dimensional space spanned by the orbital elements ...

Analytical Solution for Two-Dimensional Coupled Thermoelastodynamics in a Cylinder

An infinitely long hollow cylinder containing isotropic linear elastic material is considered under the effect of arbitrary boundary stress and thermal condition. The two-dimensional coupled thermoelastodynamic PDEs are specified based on equations of motion and energy equation, which are uncoupled using Nowacki potential functions. The Laplace integral transform and Bessel-Fourier series are u...
